I have drawn every day in January except yesterday. If I can keep that up for February, I’ll be in excellent shape.

My work deals with themes of human and nonhuman intelligence, and what it means to return home when the nature of home itself is nebulous and undefined. As an interdisciplinary artist with homebases in painting and printmaking, I explore the interstitial spaces between these and other media, relishing the borderlands–the slippage between idea and medium. Lens based ways of looking interact with a fierce love of materiality that echoes the earth itself, and the ways in which humanity interacts with the homeostatic systems that comprise Gaia, the living earth.

Congrats! That is a great accomplishment with all the craziness that life is filled with – hope your February is just as successful!
Very impressed that you have found the motivation to draw every day but one for the month… your skills must be improving so rapidly and I love this piece,,, the textures and tonal work on the side of the building is just lovely… sure February will be even better and I look forward to coming back and visiting again soon… happy CED
